PRAYER TO PROSPER

Nehemiah 1:11 NKJV O Lord, I pray, please let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant, and to the prayer of Your servants who desire to fear Your name; and let Your servant prosper this day, I pray, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man." For I was the king's cupbearer.

May the name of Jesus be glorified!

Heaven listens and answers the prayers of God-fearing people at all times. Whether you're praying for the first time today or have been waiting for an answer, remember that God is not moved by your natural fears, discouragement, or the severity of your problems.

The Bible assures us that you can confidently wait for the expected completion. 'For the vision (the answer to your prayer) is yet for an appointed time (expected completion); But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry (double assured)' - Habakkuk 2:3 NKJV.

God's timing is absolutely perfect—precisely when it needs to be. He isn't simply organizing your present moments; He is the sovereign God of Past, Present, and Future. He knows with certainty the future from the beginning, (expected completion by God) whether past or present: 'Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, "My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,"' (Isaiah 46:10 NKJV).

Praying and declaring the expected outcome of your request or supplication is an important step in your personal spiritual life. May you declare as Nehemiah declared: "Let Your servant (make mention of your name) prosper this day and grant me Your mercy wherever I go."
